Abhaibhubejhr Hospital at Prachineburi Province

................Also, we are going to visit Abhaibhubejhr Hospital, a traditional herb therapy hospital, in Prachineburi province. It's main hospital. It's about 3 kilometers away the city. The hospital has been built by personal funds of Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr in 1909 for His Majesty King Chulalongkorn when he visited Prachineburi.
The architecture of the building is in 2 stories Renaissance European style with terrace at the front and a dome in the middle of the building. On the wall outside the building, arch, and windows have been decorated with flower plaster. Inside the building has been decorated in western style. On the ground floor, there are medication equipments as well as herbal medicated exhibition. Books and pharmaceutical texts, and Tawarawadee mortar are displayed here. Fine Arts department has registed this building as a country's heritage. 

Inside the building is Abhaibhubejhr traditional medication, locall medication. Also, it's a place to publicize local people's lifestyle that is related to herbs and local medication. Chao Praya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital is an initate hospital in herbal medication. It's famous for treating the patients using herbs. the hospital also provides body massage, steaming, to massage with a hot compress containing medicinal herbs and acupuncture. Besides, you can buy low price herbal medicine and cosmetic at " Abhaibhubejhr Herbal Product Service Center". The shop is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m..

Baan Mai Market at Chacheongsao

After admiring at Luang Por Sothorn , you can relax at a gazebo on the pier. There, you can find speed boats taking people to and from the market in town. There also boats to take a ride on a speed boat to Baan Mai market. The market is located on Suphagij Road, Chacheongsao municipality. It's a traditional floating market that has been with the province for over 100 year. The market has been buil since Rama V reign.

The place was a Chineses community and also a location to shoot period series. When we walk inside the market, you can feel tradition in the air. You will find that you are surrounded by food stalls and various retail stores. Thai food, Chinese food , and local dood are there waiting for you to try ; they are cheap and tasty. Traditional noodle can be a good choice as well. 

After finish eating, you can go have a cup of coffee to sit back and relax at a coffee shop watching people walk by. To buy some souvenirs for your special ones, to see oldie toys or to enjoy beautiful scenery while having ice-cream are great ideas.

I would like to suggest you a place that is not too far from Bangkok. You can basically travel there and come back within a day. We are going to visit a temple  at Chacheongsao province . 

Let's start your day early by make merit and put gold foil on Luang Por Sothorn, also known as Luang Por Phra Buddha Sothorn image, a statue that has been sacredly located in the hall in Sothawararamworawiharn Temple, also known as Hong Temple. The temple is located on the bank of Bangprokong River, Tambon Nhamuang, Ampor Muang, Chacheongsao province. It's only around an hour away from Bangkok.

Luang Por Sothorn image has been sacred overwhelmingly by people from the province nearby. According to the history that has been told, Luang Por Sothorn statue has flown along  Bang Prakong River and then local people and a sacrifice tying a holy string on the hands of Luang Por Sothorn image. The image could be easily taken out off water and then  be placed at this temple since then.  When we enter the hall, we can see a gorgeous Buddha image made of motar coated with black lacquer and coverd with gold leaves in meditate position with around 1 elbow lap width. Nearby, there are also Buddha image of 7 days for us to pay respect to and  to stick gold foil on. Moreover, you can see beautiful scenery of the hall which is located on the river bank. In additional,  there is a staff stands in front ot the entrance to check if you dredd property or not. If you don't dress property, don't worry because there are proper clothes provided for you to were as well. 

Please remember that you must take your footwear off  before entering the building

Hello , Ang Thong : Muang Temple

.....Pray to god at Muang Temple. As you know that there are many important Buddhist festival.
one of them is in Jully-October "The Buddhist Lent Day" that bring Buddhists to rejoin the merit together by give alms to a Buddhist monk to bring happiness and successfull to life. Normally, we would bring a pack of rice, an instant food and a bottle of water to go to a nearby temple as it more convenience.
This is such a great honor of your guide to take you to Wat Muang-an ancient temple that was built in the end of Ayudha for over 300 years ago. As the belief that for a prayer who pay homage to The Great Buddha Mahanavaminsakayamunisrivisedhachaichan only touch a fingertip,all the wishes would come true.
.....It located at Moo 6, Huatapab distance from Amphur Muang for 8 kilometres by taking Ang Thong-Srivisethchaichan ( High way road number 3195) at kilometre number 29 drive along for 1 kilometre. The temple is situated on the left hand side which surrounded by many important Buddhist place, for instance, a chapel which is sacred objects museum and the ancient objects. At the upper floor, situated the biggest of a holy Buddha image in Thailand which is made from a real silver to commemorate the total end of the throne for 50 years. The area shows the a statue of hades, paradise and the land of East Asian goddess-Guan Yin statue.Also, a statue of the battle's history between Thai-Myanmar at Visetachaichan city.Back of the temple is the area of Wang Matcha and a famous traditional souvenir shops for all visitors. For the suggestion, you can travel in one day trip as the distance is nearby Bangkok.
